TE Connectivity TSD305 Element
The TSD305 element is used to read ambient temperature and contactless infrared temperature. This element is for using the TE Connectivity TSD305 digital temperature sensor, featured on the TE Connectivity MEAS weather shield for Arduino/Genuino.
The TSD305 is a sensor element that can be imported into the Element Toolbox through the Add Element button located in the toolbox from the Embedded tab.
The following properties can be changed for the TSD305 element:
The name of the element.
I2C Driver Instance
I2C driver instance to use for communication.
GPIO Driver Instance
GPIO driver instance to use.
TE Weather Shield
This sensor is included on the TE Weather Shield, which requires three extra GPIO lines to be used as a “chip select.” If this field is disabled, the following three properties will be ignored.
Weather Shield CSA
Weather Shield chip select A GPIO pin. This property is ignored if the TE Weather Shield property is disabled.
Weather Shield CSB
Weather Shield chip select B GPIO pin. This property is ignored if the TE Weather Shield property is disabled.
Weather Shield En
Weather Shield chip select enable pin. This property is ignored if the TE Weather Shield property is disabled.
The following triggers are available to execute events from within the TSD305 element:
Execute an event when the source element connected to the TSD305 triggers.
Execute an event when the ambient temperature is read from the TSD305.
Object Temperature Read
Execute an event when the contactless IR temperature is read from the TSD305.
The following abilities are available for the TSD305 element when its source element triggers:
Trigger the element(s) that follow the TSD305 element.
Read Temperature (°C)
Read the temperature (in Celsius).
Read Object Temperature (°C)
Read the contactless infrared temperature (in Celsius).
