Platform Update v1.1.8

Several new elements are now available in the Element Library, namely the series of MikroElektronika Click boards. These boards offer extended capabilities for Rapid IoT projects by increasing the number of peripherals they can use at a given time.

  • UART element is in with regular expression scanning to help developers
  • Added the ESP32 PWM element within ESP32 projects
  • Updated the ESP32 SDK to IDF 3.1
  • Simplified the ADC driver within the embedded API
  • MikroElektronika Motion Click added to Element Library
  • MikroElektronika 8×8 LED Click added to Element Library
  • MikroElektronika nanoGPS Click added to Element Library
  • MikroElektronika H-Bridge Click added to Element Library
  • Mobile app now uses the NXP Rapid IoT Kit’s A1006 secure authentication chip to authenticate the kit
  • Fixed advertisement bug with BLE for the Rapid IoT
  • Many improvements to connection speed and reliability for BLE while using Android devices
  • Fixed iOS bug where users get a blank screen when the app starts if they don’t have an Internet connection
  • Various other bug fixes
