Complete release notes for Platform Update v1.4.5 include:
- Introduced dashboard inheritance feature for IoT Central customers, users who can manage organization dashboards may now set their top level “root” organization dashboard as being inheritable by it’s sub-organizations from the dashboard menu on the right of the screen.
- Administrators of IoT Central deployments may now change other users’ email addresses.
- Users of IoT Central may now sort the organization table and device table by the status column.
- In the sidebar menu, if a user clicks the bell icon, the visible notifications rendered will now be marked as read.
- Administrators and managers may now invite other users to IoT Central via email addresses, where invited users will be presented a prompt to set their password after verifying their email from the invite.
- Fixed issue in Studio where the UI would try to delete a selected Element icon in the Designer View that was not focused anymore.
- Fixed issue where the device map widget would update even when not in view.
- Updated the V2 HTTP API to explicitly define the inclusivity of the “to” and “from” parameters: “to” is non-inclusive, while “from” is inclusive.
- Implemented ability to select all notifications in the notifications area.
- Fixed issue where the data gauge widget would handle non-number values incorrectly.
- Fixed issue where a basic user of IoT Central would see editable fields on organizations they cannot manage or edit. The fields are now disabled in this scenario.
- Fixed compilation issues with the Arduino Mega.
- Fixed issue where Basic users in IoT Central could attempt to delete device data.
- Added a description to the OKdo E1 demo project.
- Updated dashboard widgets to use a capped rate of 10,000 data points per API call.
- Fixed issue with data table widgets not respecting previously stored sorting preferences.
- Fixed error loading the donut chart widget.
- Fixed issue with table widget not handling null responses properly from the API.
- Fixed issue with the trail map widget not coloring its lines correctly.
