This release includes two new development kits being added for Atmosphere Studio, the Microchip PIC-IoT and the STMicroelectronics NUCLEO-L476RG. The added support for ST hardware also includes support for the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 BLE shield, and the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 MEMS sensor shield. Additional, we’ve made a series of functional improvements to enhance our overall user experience, and have added several new sections for documentation.

- Added support for the PIC-IoT WG development board as an available project type within Atmosphere Studio.
- Added support for the NUCLEO-L476RG development board as an available project type within Atmosphere Studio.
- Added support for the STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 MEMS sensor shield, with individual Studio elements for each of its sensors.
- Published the EEL Builder tool as an NPM package, available at: https://www.npmjs.com/package/eel-builder.
- AVR-IoT and WINC1500 will now attempt to reconnect when they are disconnected from an access point.
- AVR-IoT projects will now notify a user upon compiling if the project firmware is too large to fit on the board.
- Improved compiler error detection when using Atmosphere Studio.
- Fixed dialog button within the Atmosphere Studio programming interface to say “Close” instead of “Cancel” when programming is successful.
- Arduino Mega with TE Weather Shield and XBee3 Cellular LTE Cat 1 LTE modem demo now available within Studio’s demo projects.
- Corrected interval setting within LSM9DS1 demo project.
- Updated graphics in the Windows version of the IoT Agent to resolve pixelated issues with the icons.
- Fixed issue within Atmosphere Studio for zooming on screen when using a browser’s magnify screen feature.
- Code editor within a Studio element’s properties now open in a separate modal when focused.
- Data glance widget now displays “true” and “false” for Boolean values.
- Revised cloud storage naming within Arduino Mega WINC1500 demo project.
- Revised element naming within SensorTile Onboard Sensor demo project.
- Revised cloud storage naming within ESP32 Embedded-to-Cloud demo project.
- Added Getting Started Guide for the PIC-IoT WG to the Atmosphere Developer Hub.
- Added element documentation for the BlueNRG wireless SoC to the Atmosphere Developer Hub.
- Improved documentation for installing the Atmosphere IoT Agent on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Added element documentation for each sensor available on the STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 MEMS sensor shield.
- Corrected error within the documentation for the Getting Started with Rapid IoT guide.
- Corrected error within the documentation for the Getting Started with MAX32630 Feather guide.
- Added an updated user menu within the platform navigation for Enterprise customers.
